Obviously, there are some good stories in this collection and I hate to be overly critical because I want people to read more short stories. But I knew with Jennifer Egan as the judge there would be a fair amount of "showing off," and, in my opinion, there is too much. I like a great voice in a short story and with this batch, the emphasis is more on "cool" and "male" and big words. Last year's, with Elizabeth Strout as the editor, was far better.

I'm pretty sure I've had this wart for over 10 years now. I've had others when I was younger, but never one as persistent (or deep) as this one. It's like a plantar wart, but on the palm side of my index finger, so abuse keeps it from growing above the skin. When my hands get dry, it might grow and split a bit, at which point I'd norrmally trim it back, and maybe use a band-aid to keep it from drying out futher.

This is an interesting take on the legend of Hercules. The idea mainly being "What if Hercules legend was just that- a legend? What if Hercules was a real guy and really he just grew up on the streets later to become a mercenary?" It's an interesting concept.

The laptop was everything I was hoping for and more. It got here ahead of time which is a first. The boxing leaved a little to be desired but the laptop had no damage and was pristine. Great low budget laptop.

They quote studies but not too scientific and skewed to support their claims. Plexus is being investigated and challenged by the FDA because of its false claims and ponzi methods. Beware of scams like this. They try to profit from your pain.
