This review is for the ladies!! Every time I go out with my man in this hot and manly wolf shirt I ask myself, "are you woman enough for the man that wears this shirt??"
I'm a huge fan of this series and everything that Mrs. Harris writes. However, while I adore Roe Teagarden, this wasn't the best offering. It seemed to drag in the beginning, the mystery was a bit predictable, and it felt the the questions/observations from Roe were very repetitive. At one point I was also taken completely out of the story by an inconsistency. On page 23, Roe tells how she called her best friend Amina to share the news of her pregnancy. In that instance, Amina is thrilled, begins to weep with joy, and says that she has lots of baby clothes she can share with Roe. But then, on page 133, Amina is in town and Roe "breaks the news" to Amina of her pregnancy for the first time...and Amina is both surprised and unhappy. This is not necessarily the author's fault, as she likely just forgot to remove the original line during revisions, but it's a wonder that the professional editors and proofreader that worked on this book didn't catch such a glaring inconsistency. Overall, it was an enjoyable read, but I enjoy Harris' other works better.
After finishing remodeling my basement the inspectors found an outlet with reversed polarity (of course, it was the only outlet I did not replace from the entire basement!) One inspector suggested getting a tester, so I got this Sperry.
I have used this glue for years on wood, cloth, iron, leather, etc. and it always worked marvelously, so you imagine my surprise when I attempted to glue a crack in a plastic object and it failed abysmally. Not believing it, I carefully repeated the attempt without success. Still not believing, I tried testing on another plastic object. Same result, failure.
The fact alone I've dropped my phone 10 times while its in the lumee case and it hasn't broken is a five star for me you only have to charge a stays charged for a long time it's really really bright which is why sometimes I don't even need it
This is Green and Melanie's story, and what a story it is. Mandy M Roth definitely keeps you on the edge of your seat from page one. As for your emotions, well..... they are gonna be up and down. Ms Mandy M Roth has certainly gone all put with this extended edition.
