It's a cute idea for helping young kids start to think about the idea of comparison and context, but I found that the four year old I was reading this to didn't seem to understand what was being expressed *at all.* Even just a few more words of clarification early on in the text itself would've helped, I think. Of course we talked about each picture, and about what the story was trying to tell us, but her usual mountain of questions and her own generally spot-on explanations of what she's hearing and seeing dwindled to nothing while we read this together. I've never seen her remain silent through an entire book. She just didn't seem to see or care about what was being addressed at all, so it was, for her, just a series of "no" statements. She did like the pictures.
I bought this book for one of my students and was very disappointed when it arrived. In fact, I used it as an example for all of my students to know what you are buying. It wouldn't have mattered so much that it was in black and white if they had retained the original size. All in all a big rip off!
Alpha GPC is used as a prescription in Europe for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease. The main properties of alpha GPC is to increase acetylcholine in the brain which is responsible for memory and learning functions. More specifically, Alpha GPC rapidly delivers choline to the brain across the blood brain barrier and is a precursor of acetylcholine. It is very safe if taken as directed and the common doses range from 300 to 1,200 mg per day. Each capsule in this product contains 325mg of Alpha GPC and should last you about 1-2 months.
Great car seat! Our 11 month old loves it and fits perfectly. If you move car seats between cars frequently then this one is not for you. Installing the seat in my 4 door sadan was no easy task. My only really complaint is that the harness is difficult to get tight enough once the child is in the seat. I often have to reach behind the seat and manually tighten in with the shoulder straps and then pull the tightening belt in the front. Not a big deal though as it's pretty quick to do. Although once he is forward facing I'm not sure how this is going to go.
Functionally, this case serves my intended purpose of having to remember to grab only one item (my phone) instead of two (my phone and my wallet) since I can keep my driver's license, debit card and a few bills inside the case with the phone. My problem is that (even though I asked the question whether wireless charging worked through that case and was told my several people that it did) my attempts to charge wirelessly fail. So I'm not happy that each night before bed and then while I'm at work I have to remove the phone from the case to charge it. I am hoping someone who reads this might have a trick up their sleeve otherwise I fear that the act of removing the phone from it's case twice a day will shorten it's life span significantly. Sure I can go wired charging but would prefer wireless.
