The Twelve Days of Christmas is a light read with an important message about the power of kindness to transform. Julie Padden is an upbeat person who loves the holidays; her neighbor Cain Maddox is an unfriendly Grinch. When she chooses to 'kill him with kindness' and makes the questionable decision to blog about her actions in an effort to get a new job, the results are far from what she expected and the impact is on her as much as him. I enjoyed the compact nature of the plot and the structure of the book - twelve chapters, one for each of the Twelve Days of Christmas. The conclusion was predictable, but not trite. I recommend this book to anyone looking for an uplifting read with a valuable message.

While the first 56 pages offered great detail on the symbiotic relationship between the outlook for wooden toilet seats and the price of rice in China, I was disappointed to find the authors completely neglected to take this cogent argument to the next obvious iteration: pandas. Yes, not one mention of the overarching impact of the Great Panda's increased presence in Chins and the availability:demand ratios in the regions adjacent to the Panda Preserves. Of course, if this area isn't in your investment portfolio, this book is 100% on target.

I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised by this book. The slang and narrative tone seem to be more geared toward the YA crowd but the meat and bones of the story are quite addictive and definitely ageless. The main character is a strong, no nonsense, kick a$$ heroine named Jessa. She is someone you can't help but root for and her very unique pack situation with the 4 brothers is surprisingly uncomplicated and definitely yummy... and WOW...I don't think Braxton could be any hotter even if Jaymin tried. This was a quick read that didn't require a lot of thought but was definately fun to watch unfurl. I will be checking out the next book as soon as it's released later this year.

My kids love putting fresh fruit in and not having to add ice or anything to their smoothies. I love the grinder for my coffee and egg shells. I dont use the juicer part. I actually threw it away.

I have to say that this cleaner really does a good job in killing mold, mildew, etc. as long as you're patient. It does take some time to start killing and showing results. I had some thick mold growing on my outdoor paving blocks, so I didn't hold much hope that this cleaner would work. Well, it did work. It's been four months since I applied the cleaner; and slowly the mold is disappearing. As advertised, the cleaner works every time the surface becomes wet. The mold I had growing on my shingles is totally gone. My pavement and sidewalks are absent of any mold or mildew. I plan to use this product every year from now on.
