I purchased this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review of the product. I tested this product with salt, I don't usually use a lot of pepper on things. It worked really well with the rock salt I bought and put into the canister and then tried it on various settings. It worked as expected, finer salt with the closer it got to being closed, and then coarse salt as I loosened it. It is mostly made of plastic with the exception of part of the grinding mechanism that is made out of metal. Once I am out of salt I may try and use it for other spices that need a mill.

My husband and I really enjoy cooking. We like to have freshly ground pepper, if defiantly makes a huge difference in taste of the finished product. This grinder is great. The sleek design looks nice on the counter. The adjustable settings are perfect. I like a finer grind, my husband prefers a larger grind. Easy to adjust. It stands nicely and does not tip like some we have had in the past that we are always finding behind the stove. This can be used for salt as well, we are pepper people, so pepper it is. Shipping was super fast. This would make a nice shower or wedding gift for the new couple. Also house warming gift. I like these fun ideas that most people don't think about when gift giving. Overall, great product, great quality. Highly recommend. I did receive this for a partial discount for my fair and honest opinion, which I take very seriously.
So I thought this was a good deal it was but it wasn't exactly what I paid for. This is actually the kit from a different country which is slightly different than the one one for the US and it doesn't say that anywhere.
Wow. I had a Remington cordless that I relied on for years and was sad to see go. If my scruff got long enough it would pull on the hairs which was unpleasant, even after new blades. I turned on this new one for the first time expecting some pull, but got none. It shaved every whisker off my face without issue. I ran the backside of my hand across my face to pick up any rough spots, as soon as I ran the shaver over those areas going against the grain it was razor smooth.
Package was damaged and slightly open upon recieveing however all materials were still in the box and looked undamaged. This are not made to be an exact fit and have extensions that can be screwed tight. Two of my screws seemed stripped however when I tried to tighter them. After a somewhat frustrating installation I got the bars on there. The rubber gaskets kept falling out and were a pain the get the bars aligned properly. After driving for a few days I thought they were great until today when one of the screws snapped in two and the bottom clamp flew off somewhere down the highway. This could be from over tightening but nowhere in the instructions does it say how much torque to toughen them down to. I'm lucky to have avoided an accident. I am waiting now to hear from the seller to see if they will honor their warranty.
